Challenges
The client’s design included two large, bespoke half-moon-shaped teapoints. Their distinctive shape and size posed logistical challenges, both in transporting them to the site and in their installation, requiring meticulous planning and coordination.
The curved framework and solid surface tops of these specialist pieces presented technical complexities, particularly in achieving seamless joints and precise alignment of all components.

Solution
Hurst’s scope encompassed the design, manufacturing and installation of various bespoke joinery elements to the reception, board room, offices, meeting rooms and open areas across both levels.
These elements included a custom-built reception desk, painted kitchen units and bespoke half-moon teapoints with integrated planters and solid surface worktops, and ORAC feature walls to accommodate backlit company logos. Upholstered banquette seating, and bookcases with integrated tv screens and acoustic panels were built for install into the open areas, along with coat cupboards and low level storage units. Covering panels for the folding doors ensured these blended into the interior design, when not in use.
