Project: Salisbury House
Architect: Bluebottle Architecture & Design
Location: Finsbury Square, London
Programme: 12 Weeks
Sector: Office Workspace
Brief
In our first collaboration with Scott Osborn, Hurst Joinery Projects was commissioned to manufacture and install various joinery elements for the refurbishment of the ground floor of Salisbury House, a Grade II listed building in the heart of London.
The client required joinery elements for the communal areas, conference rooms, meeting rooms, and reception areas with the vision of creating beautiful work zones for the building’s occupants to utilise. The challenge lay in blending the historical charm of the building with modern design elements, ensuring that each interior space could strike a balance between aesthetics and practicality.
Hurst was selected for the project due to its expertise in delivering quality craftsmanship in joinery solutions for commercial spaces.
Result
The transformation of Salisbury House’s ground floor was executed to perfection, adhering to both the timeline and budget specifications. Each of the designated areas, from the reception to the chill-out zones, now exudes a harmonious blend of historical elegance and contemporary design. Scott Osborn was exceptionally pleased with the outcome, particularly applauding Hurst’s expertise in realising the vision for each distinct space. The success of this project has paved the way for potential future collaborations.
