Petersham Nurseries - Covent Garden

Hurst Joinery supplied the bespoke joinery requirements for the bars and shop as part of the stunning fit out of Petersham Nurseries in Covent Garden, undertaken by Atlas Refurbishment Northern Ltd. Hurst collaborated closely with the client to agree the final designs which were inspired by the Boglione family home ‘Petersham House’ in Richmond, the interiors also reflect their love of natural materials. The ‘La Goccia’ bar and restaurant is a vibrant all day venue with an open kitchen, wood fired oven, large grill and dining bar.
Hurst manufactured and supplied the following joinery items:
– Bespoke black steel acoustic glazed screens and sliding doors.
– Bars which were clad in a number of finishes from black steel to stunning copper leaves!
– Various finishes were applied to the bar tops including granite, timber and stainless steel.
– Traditional oak staircase supplied for staff area.
– The main shop cash desk was manufactured from oak and the front clad with terracotta tiles to match the window beds.
– Various other items of built in joinery were also supplied and finished with specialist decoration.
