'The Vault' Kirkstall Brewery, Leeds
Hurst Stores and Interiors were responsible for the complete refurbishment of the student bar and recreational areas within ‘The Vault’, working in collaboration with Fuse Design Studios. ‘The Vault’ is the social hub of the student accommodation site at Kirkstall Brewery in Leeds for Leeds Metropolitan University.
The stunning beamed atrium now features an artificial grass wall, antique mirrors and over-sized lampshades. The original stone flags have been maintained and complemented by new oak flooring. The rear of the atrium includes new wood panelling, halogen lighting and wood partitioning with planting.
The project also included the refurbishment of the bar with new ceramic tiling, snug area with wood panelling and digital wallpaper and a multi-purpose room with Amtico flooring and remote control black-out blinds. All signage including the feature fairground sign ‘The Vault’ were also supplied and installed by Hurst.
