Hurst Joinery Projects has completed the bespoke joinery package for Nexus Club London, a newly opened private members’ club set within a historic Georgian terrace in South Kensington.

Appointed to deliver the joinery elements across the four-storey venue, Hurst worked closely with the wider project team to bring the interiors to life. The brief called for pieces that would complement the club’s blend of contemporary luxury and welcoming atmosphere, while also respecting the heritage of the building. Working within a listed structure brought added complexity, with restricted access, careful coordination, and sensitivity to original features all influencing the approach.

The package included statement features such as a marble-topped reception desk with brass detailing, a feature bar with specialist finishes, and bespoke wall panelling that runs throughout the club. Additional fitted joinery, storage solutions, and seating were also manufactured and installed, each produced at Hurst’s 80,000 sq ft facility to ensure both quality and consistency.

A collaborative approach underpinned the project, with regular design reviews, sample production, and on-site coordination ensuring the delivery met the client’s expectations.

“Hurst Joinery Projects played a key role in bringing the interiors at Nexus Club London to life. Their responsiveness, craftsmanship and proactive approach on site gave us great confidence and helped ensure the project was delivered smoothly.”
