Hurst Stores and Interiors has successfully completed the fit-out of the Leeds Building Society branch in South Shields, delivering a modern, customer-focused environment that reflects the Society’s refreshed brand identity.
Appointed as Principal Contractor, Hurst managed the eight-week programme from start to finish, overseeing joinery, mechanical and electrical works, and interior finishes. The project also included new walls, ceilings and flooring, acoustic glazed meeting rooms, and bespoke counters and furniture produced by Hurst’s in-house team.
Working within the constraints of a busy high street location, the project team carefully coordinated deliveries and secured an off-site unit to manage welfare and storage, ensuring the branch remained on schedule and on standard throughout.
The completed branch now offers a refreshed environment for customers and colleagues, strengthening Leeds Building Society’s presence in the town centre.
