Café Court Furniture, Westfield London
We were awarded Westfield Café Court Furniture contract following an invitation to review phase 1 detailing for improvement.
Hurst finalised the design, supply, manufacture and delivery of all new banquette seating, perimeter high tables and loose tables in brass, leather and solid surface materials.
Project Challenges
- Consideration for cleaning regime of brass detailing resulted in replacement of sharp mitred edges for plinths with folded corners and welded cappings.
- Development of integrated wireless charging dock below Corian work surfaces, removed potential maintenance issues from spillages
- Banquette seating cushion sizes were standardised to just 3 variants: 600mm, 700mm and 800mm, allowing damaged cushions to be easily replaced
