Award success for Hurst
In the inaugural project award ceremony held on 27th May 2010 The Manchester Airport Group awarded The Hurst Group with two awards. We won The Sustainability Award of the Year for the fit out of Concorde Conference Centre handed over last year. This centre houses Concorde as a visitor attraction at the airport and uses a biomass burner to heat the building. The burner uses timber grown around the airport.
The second award was for our contribution for volunteering and contributing towards the Manchester Airport value of Social Commitment
