Hurst Ceilings and Flooring Limited was established in 1988 working solely for the previously named Hurst Shopfitting Contractors, mainly in the high street retail sector. The business has since developed into a specialist interior contractor delivering all types of suspended ceilings, soft floor coverings and internal partitioning solutions.

Hurst Ceilings and Flooring can provide all types of metal ceiling, including bespoke designs, chilled ceilings, exposed and concealed grid mineral fibre, plasterboard M/F, GRG and GRP ceilings and features.

Flooring, a prime part of the company's focus, concentrates on soft finishes, vinyl flooring and carpet in sheet, roll or tile format. Specialist requirements such as engraving and inlays can also be catered for.

Partitioning has become a recent addition to the company's portfolio and includes a wide range of fully demountable, solid, glazed, timber dry lined and bespoke partition systems.

Following a regularised training programme for staff and operatives, modern technical skills in forming solid ceiling constructions with materials such as Gyproc, GRG and GRP together with cast and fabricated features and mouldings are now commonplace within the business. All site based operatives are directly employed to ensure a consistent and stable workforce.

An in-house CAD design facility enables the company to work more closely with architects to identify specification problems, provide solutions and incorporate them quickly and easily within a co-ordinated design to overcome or prevent on-site difficulties.
